Inspired by the coast... Painting furniture is a wonderful way to introduce the coastal feel to any room. Here we have painted an old basket chair in a white chalk paint complimenting it with two coastal cushions Salt Rock I & II (£34.99 ) sumptuously filled with soft duck feathers. Spring is slowly starting.....lambs are appearing in the fields and its another lovely sunny morning...

Wonderful sunny day in North Yorkshire, a little cool but don't you feel so much better when the sun is out. Had chance to look around the garden and see  the Daffodils, Crocus and Tulips all pushing up through the ground a sure sign that spring is on its way.  One of my favorite Spring flowers is the Ranunculus they open to be like miniature Peony flowers, can be bought now from the florist and last about two weeks in a cool room but they do need flower food in the vase to help the buds open.
